Job Summary:

Midnight & The Wicked is looking for courteous and professional Powder Room Attendants to direct the flow of traffic in and out of our powder rooms. In addition to cleaning and maintaining toilet facilities in accordance with company standards during and after operational service hours. As a Powder Room Attendant you will use cleaning equipment to clean mirrors, floors, toilets, sinks, etc. As well as refill the powder rooms with supplies as needed and maintain records of their daily operations.

Duties / Responsibilities:

• Maintain the highest possible level of customer service while assisting patrons and supporting special requirements
• Keep powder rooms in clean, neat and orderly condition
• Make sure that powder room supplies such as soap and toilet paper are always available for customer use
• Clean the toilets and wipe the sinks, mirrors and powder rooms according to the required standards, providing special attention to details
• Change air filters and clean vents
• Gather and empty trash
• Dust furniture, walls, and equipment
• Mix cleaning solutions and chemicals in containers in preparation for cleaning, according to instructions
• Follows procedures for the use of chemical cleaners and power machinery to prevent damage to floors and fixtures
• Manage inventory levels of cleaning materials and submit purchase orders for when stock is low and closely follow their usage to maintain a constant supply
• Ensure spaces are prepared for the next day
• Report to management when powder room related equipment is not functioning properly or when related equipment is broken and post "out of order" signs on the respective rooms
• Treat routine waste carefully when performing cleaning activities and ensure that the waste collection and surrounding areas are maintained clean at all times
• Maintain the use of personal protective equipment whenever necessary to maintain safety and sanitation standards
• Adhere to all OSHA laws regarding safety and sanitation

Required Skills/ Abilities:

• Must be 21 years of age or older
• Knowledge of standard cleaning methods and procedures
• Knowledge of different cleaning products and tools
• Ability to perform repetitive motion for long periods of time
• Ability to lift heavy objects, climb ladders and work at particular heights
• Keen eye for detail
• Time-management and multitasking abilities
• Physical strength and stamina
• Organization skills
• Good verbal communication and interpersonal skills

Education and Experience:

• High school diploma is preferred but not required
• Experience using cleaning equipment, including vacuum cleaners, floor buffers, and cleaning solutions
• Background in handling, mixing, and using cleaning chemicals
• Knowledge of occupational hazards safety rules
• Preventive and interventional methods used in the cleaning industry to maintain health and safety for all workers.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: From $15.00 per hour

Expected hours: 12 - 20 per week

Schedule:

• Monday to Friday
• Night shift
• Weekends as needed

Work Location: In person
