About the role
We are seeking a seasoned Project Manager / Program Manager to drive strategic initiatives across our commercial applied new programs. The ideal candidate will lead cross-functional engagements (global and regional), manage complex product development cycles, and ensure timely delivery of high-impact solutions aligned with business goals
Key Responsibilities:
· Lead end-to-end NPD/localization projects & programs from concept to launch, ensuring alignment with Carrier India’s yearly product launch plan.
· Develop and manage detailed project timelines, budgets, and resource plans.
· Track project milestones, budgets, and deliverables. Manage project risks, scope changes and other non-standard events throughout the execution to ensure timely delivery of product launches.
· Closely work and co-ordinate with cross functional teams of product management, sales, marketing, engineering, sourcing, quality, manufacturing etc to ensure alignment and timely delivery.
· Maintain program dashboards and performance KPIs (schedule, cost, performance, budget, resource health, etc.).
· Lead & drive periodic reviews to communicate program status, risks, and decisions to leadership and cross-functional stakeholders.
· Lead key milestone deliverables ,Reviews (Passport/phase gate), and executive updates as per product development process
· Implement corrective actions and continuous improvement initiatives
· Communicate effectively with senior/executive leadership and should have stakeholder management skills
Basic Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field (Master’s preferred).
10-15 years of experience in program management
Skilled in communicating effectively (written & verbal) and managing relationships with stakeholders
Proven track record in managing complex programs, preferably in HVAC, refrigeration, or industrial manufacturing.
Strong understanding of knowledge of product development life-cycle.
Proficiency in project management tools (MS Project, Asana, etc).
PMP, CSM or equivalent certification preferred

Experience working in a matrix organization is a plus.
Demonstrates proactive approach and maintains a results-driven mindset
