Job Description

The Proposal Consultant for Government Contracts at Greenberg-Larraby, Inc. (GLI) will play a pivotal role in managing and developing proposals for large government contracts. You will be responsible for creating high-quality proposals that align with strategic goals while collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure timely and successful submission.

Key Responsibilities:

• Research, prepare, and write proposals in response to government solicitations.
• Coordinate with subject matter experts and other stakeholders to gather necessary information and inputs for proposals.
• Ensure compliance with all contract requirements and company policies throughout the proposal development process.
• Review and edit proposals for clarity, consistency, and accuracy.
• Implement best practices in proposal management and continuously seek improvements in proposal processes.
• Participate in proposal strategy meetings and contribute ideas that enhance competitive positioning.
• Assist in the development of proposal schedules and ensure that all deadlines are met.

Requirements

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in proposal management, specifically in government contracts and large vehicles.
• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
• Strong understanding of federal government acquisition processes and regulations.
• Proficient in proposal writing and editing, with a focus on clarity and persuasiveness.
• Excellent communication, organizational, and time management skills.
• Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team environment.
• Experience with compliance checklists and proposal submission processes.
• Membership in professional organizations such as APMP is a plus.
