Psychiatric Inpatient Registered Nurse (Full-Time)

 

Location: Springfield, MA

Schedule: Full-time, 32 hours per week - Rotating shifts

Salary Range: $43 - $60/hour

Relocation Assistance: Considered on an individual basis

Shift Options: Day and Evening shifts available

• Evening Differential: Additional $4 per hour
• Weekend Differential: Additional $3 per hour

We are looking for dedicated and empathetic Registered Nurses (RN) with experience in mental health to join our client’s team and provide comprehensive care to adolescent and adult patients. Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver high-quality care to adolescent and adult patients.
• Monitor and evaluate patients’ physical and mental health throughout their treatment.
• Implement nursing interventions that align with the organization's values and care philosophy.
• Maintain a structured and secure therapeutic setting.
• Work closely with an interdisciplinary team to design, execute, and document individualized treatment plans centered on patients' needs and challenges.

 

Qualifications:

• Active RN license in Massachusetts (BSN preferred).
• At least 1 year of nursing experience in mental health or behavioral health settings.
• Familiarity with treatment methods for behavioral health and substance use disorders.
• Strong foundation in Trauma-Informed Care principles.
• Current CPR certification.
• Preferably experienced in inpatient psychiatric care, crisis management, de-escalation, and restraint reduction.
• Effective in handling crisis situations, managing time, and prioritizing multiple tasks.
• BSN is a plus.
