Solution IT Inc. is looking for a QA Test Automation Engineer w/API for one of its clients in Remote / Chicago IL

Job Title: QA Test Automation Engineer w/API

Required Skills

• Strong experience in building API integrations and automated API testing.
• Proficiency with Selenium and TestNG for test automation.
• Experience with API test frameworks and tools such as Postman, REST Assured, or similar.
• Hands-on experience with test automation in CI/CD environments.
• Familiarity with performance testing of APIs.
• Good understanding of end-to-end testing methodologies.
• Strong programming/scripting skills (Java, Python, or similar).
• Solid understanding of software development life cycle (SDLC) and QA methodologies.

Good to have :-

• Experience with Boomi or similar integration platforms.
• Exposure to UIPath Test Suite and its automation capabilities.
• Familiarity with AI-driven or Generative AI approaches to test automation.
• Knowledge of version control tools like Git and build tools like Maven or Gradle.
• Basic understanding of cloud platforms and microservices architecture.

Qualification & skills :-

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• Analytical mindset with excellent problem-solving skills.
• Strong communication and collaboration abilities to work in cross-functional teams.
• Passion for quality, automation, and continuous learning.

Work Site : Remote / Chicago IL

Duration: 12+ Months

Expected Start Date : Immediate - 2 weeks
