As a clinician-led Mobile Integrated Health (MIH) organization, we are redefining the role of the paramedic—empowering providers to practice at the top of their license, assess social and clinical barriers, and build continuity in care. We’re currently hiring Community Paramedics to support our growing footprint in the Cleveland region. This is a non-transport, in-home care role designed for medics looking to work autonomously, think critically, and truly impact all populations.

About the Role:

As a dual-function Recruiter & HR Assistant , you’ll play a key role in identifying top healthcare talent and supporting daily HR functions. You’ll work closely with hiring managers, HR leadership, and clinical teams to ensure our workforce is staffed with skilled professionals while maintaining smooth HR processes.

Key Responsibilities:

Recruitment

  • Post and manage job listings for clinical and non-clinical roles.
  • Source, screen, and interview candidates for open positions
  • Coordinate interviews with department leads and ensure a positive candidate experience.
  • Assist with reference checks and background screenings.
  • Track candidate progress throughout the hiring process and provide timely updates to department leaders to support informed hiring decisions.

HR Support 

  • Assist with onboarding: prepare new hire paperwork, schedule orientations, and maintain HR files.
  • Respond to routine employee inquiries regarding HR policies, benefits, and procedures.
  • Support payroll and timekeeping processes with accurate data entry.
  • Help with compliance tracking (e.g., licensure, certifications, training deadlines).
  • Maintain confidentiality and accuracy in all employee records.

What We’re Looking For:

  • 1–2 years of recruiting or HR experience, preferably in healthcare.
  • Familiarity with ATS or HRIS systems
  • Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Knowledge of healthcare staffing or credentialing is a plus.

Education:

  • Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Healthcare Administration, or related field preferred.
