School-Based Therapist

A School-Based Therapist is needed within the Waynedale school district in Wooster, OH. This position is with a non-profit Christian mental health organization.

Titan Placement Group invites you to explore an opportunity in one of Ohio’s most innovative and exciting communities to live, work, and visit. Our Client is a non-profit faith-based organization offering both outpatient and residential services to all ages.

The organization is looking for a School-Based Therapist (LSW, LISW, LPC, LPCC) who will partner with school officials to provide support and mental health and case management services to students and families at assigned schools. Part time and Full Time roles are available.

Salary and Benefits

• Salary / Hourly Rate Breakdowns:
  • Part-Time (10 to 16 hours per week, no benefits) is between $26 and $38 an hour, depending on education, experience and licensure status.
  • Part-time WITH benefits (17 to 22 billable hours per week) salaried position, $30,000 to $37,500
  • Full-Time, benefits (23 to 27 billable hours per week) $41,000 to $51,000 depending on education, experience and licensure status
• Employment bonus – $3000 paid at 60 days of employment (amount determined by experience and licensure status)

Responsibilities

• Adhere to the organization’s statement of faith and code of conduct. Treat others with Christ-like attitude, while helping them experience their worth in Christ, and demonstrating behaviors reflecting the organization’s core values of Relentless Commitment, Selflessness, and Kindness.
• Provide individual and/or family mental health counseling and appropriate and effective evidence-based therapeutic interventions according to the client's treatment plan.
• Complete MHAs, including accurate mental health diagnoses.
• Complete treatment plans (ITPs) in collaboration with client.
• Complete timely and well-written documentation. Progress notes should be completed and signed daily, or within 24 hours for billing purposes.
• Participate in Peer/case review, supervision, and other quality improvement activities.

Requirements :

• Bachelor's or Master's level Social Worker (LSW) - Master's degree strongly preferred - or Master's level Counselor (LPC), with independent licensure preferred (LISW or LPCC, respectively).
• Experience working with students and families strongly preferred.
