Senior Accountant

Position Overview
The Senior Accountant will be responsible for overseeing financial reporting, ensuring compliance with accounting standards, and managing the month-end close process. This role requires expertise in general ledger management and a strong understanding of accounts payable and receivable functions.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the month-end close process and prepare financial statements in accordance with GAAP.
• Manage and reconcile the general ledger accounts.
• Oversee accounts payable and accounts receivable functions to ensure timely processing and reporting.
• Prepare and review journal entries and maintain accurate and complete financial records.
• Collaborate with external auditors during financial audits and support any necessary inquiries.
• Assist in the preparation of annual budgets and forecasts.
• Ensure compliance with tax regulations and manage payroll processes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance; CPA preferred.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in accounting, with a focus on senior accounting roles.
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting standards.
• Experience in managing month-end close processes and general ledger functions.
• Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work under tight deadlines.
