We are looking for a Senior Counsel with expertise supporting technology transactions and licensing, monetized software and services and strategic commercial transactions. The preferred location for this role is NVIDIA’s Santa Clara headquarters.
What you'll be doing:
In this role, you will:
Draft, negotiate and advise the business on commercial and technology licensing, monetized services and other strategic transactions.
Lead complex negotiations with partners and customers of all sizes and in a diverse set of industries.
Create contract policies, templates and playbooks in close coordination with NVIDIA business partners.
Work with cross-functional and global NVIDIA teams to develop and implement key initiatives and share best practices.
What we need to see:
8+ years relevant legal experience with a track record of navigating intellectual property issues, technology and commercial transactions, and software and cloud product legal support.
Trusted advisor with sound judgment and persuasive verbal and written communication skills.
Ability to navigate and break down complex legal issues into actionable advice covering a broad range of interdependent issues, balance risk with business need, and ask tough questions.
Self-starter who excels at managing projects, prioritizing tasks and working both collaboratively with many different stakeholders and independently.
Juris Doctorate degree from an accredited U.S. school.
Admitted to the bar and in good standing in the jurisdiction of hire, or otherwise authorized to practice law (e.g., have registered in-house status).

The base salary range is 188,000 USD - 287,500 USD. Your base salary will be determined based on your location, experience, and the pay of employees in similar positions.
