We are looking for a talented Senior Cyber Security Engineer is responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining security solutions that protect the organization's networks, systems, and data. This role involves a combination of technical expertise, strategic planning, and leadership to ensure robust protection against cybersecurity threats. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in securing complex systems, performing risk assessments, and staying ahead of emerging security trends.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, implement, manage, and monitor security systems, including SIEM, endpoint protection solutions (Sentinel One, CrowdStrike), vulnerability scanning and asset management technologies.
• Architect and maintain secure cloud environments across platforms such as AWS and Azure.
• Develop and enforce security policies, standards, and procedures to safeguard organizational assets.
• Engineer security solutions that will streamline the implementation of security policies and programs.
• Develop an effective metrics and measurement strategy to provide actionable data
• Assist the Security Operations team with incident response efforts, investigating and mitigating security breaches.
• Ensure compliance with industry regulations such as GDPR, HIPAA, PCI-DSS, and SOC 2.
• Mentor junior security engineers and team members to enhance the organization’s security capabilities.
• Provide technical guidance to executives and stakeholders on security-related matters.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or related field (or equivalent work experience).
• 7+ years of experience in information security, with a focus on engineering and architecture.
• Proficiency in cybersecurity tools such as SIEMs, vulnerability scanners, and endpoint protection platforms.
• Strong knowledge of encryption, authentication protocols, and secure application development.
• Expertise in cloud security (AWS, Azure, GCP) and containerization technologies like Docker and Kubernetes.
• Hands-on experience with network security tools, VPNs, and threat modeling.
• Familiarity with scripting languages such as Python.
• Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) preferred
• Certified Ethical Hacker (CEH) preferred
• GIAC certifications (e.g., GSEC, GCIH) preferred
• Cloud security certifications (e.g., AWS Certified Security, Azure Security Engineer Associate) preferred
