Position:

Senior DevOps Engineer

Description:

Utilize GitLab, SonarQube, and Fortify for software delivery. Set up monitoring and logging using Grafana, Prometheus, Datadog, ELK, and Graylog. Implement CD pipeline tooling such as Infrastructure as Code and Configuration Management (Ansible, Puppet), Docker containers, Kubernetes orchestration, and Terraform. Utilize Jira, Confluence, Git, and Jenkins. Manage IIS web servers, including networking, OSI model, and protocols. Automate platform and application deployments using CI/CD.

Lead Agile methodology project planning and tracking, collaborating across multiple industries. Work with various security standards and frameworks including RMF-NIST 800-53, DIACAP, HIPAA, GDPR, FISMA, ISO 27001 & 27992, SOC2, NERC-CIP, CMMC, OWASP Top 10, and MITRE ATT&CK Framework. Implement configuration management practices. Engage in full stack development, primarily using Python, C++, Bash scripting, Java, and other languages as required. Manage and configure NGINX.

Requirements:

Required Skills and Experience: Strong knowledge of IP, UDP, OSI model, Load Balancing, and VLAN configurations. Minimum 5+ years in infrastructure or related fields.

Experience with CD for compiled software, SCM tools such as Perforce and Git, build systems including make, cmake, and bazel. Proficiency with Docker and network protocols including TCP. Administration experience with CentOS or RHEL, IT systems administration, Ansible, Chef, and proficiency in Python and Bash scripting.

Skilled in compiling Linux kernels and cross-compilation, scripting in Python and Shell, and debugging. Experience with NoSQL database deployment preferred. Familiarity with virtualization and containerization technologies.

Knowledge of REST, SQL, CD tools (Git, GitLab, Bitbucket, Jenkins), cloud services, virtual machines, Docker containers, graphics rendering in the cloud, Kubernetes, and monitoring tools like Grafana and Nagios.

At least 3+ years working with Kafka and 10+ years of experience in Windows networking. Certifications such as LPIC-1 are highly desirable. 10+ years of experience with Linux and networking.

Minimum 5+ years experience in SDLC and continuous integration.
