We’re searching for an exceptional Senior Full Stack Developer to join Fastbreak’s cutting-edge software engineering team. What You’ll Do

  • Design and develop high-performance, scalable web applications using React, Next.js, and Express.
  • Lead technical architecture decisions and enforce best practices for code quality and testing.
  • Collaborate with product managers and stakeholders to define technical requirements.
  • Mentor junior developers and conduct thorough code reviews.
  • Troubleshoot and debug complex technical issues.
  • Drive innovation and technical excellence within the engineering team.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of professional software development experience.
  • Strong expertise in React.js and Next.js frameworks.
  • Extensive experience with Node.js and Express.js .
  • Proven track record of working with AWS services (e.g., EC2, S3, Lambda).
  • Deep understanding of frontend architecture and state management.
  • Experience with RESTful APIs and microservices architecture.
  • Strong knowledge of Git and CI/CD practices.
  • Excellent problem-solving and debugging skills.
  • Outstanding written and verbal communication abilities.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with TypeScript and strong typing practices.
  • Knowledge of containerization (Docker) and orchestration (Kubernetes).
  • Familiarity with serverless architecture.
  • Experience with performance optimization and web vitals.
  • History of contributing to open-source projects.
  • AWS certifications.

Location

  • We're based in Charlotte, NC and looking for a team member to work in our offices 5 days a week.
