Responsible for release, maintenance, and change management of service parts for Charging products, Standard Components, and Service Consumables. Role requires high levels of initiative, independent judgement, and indirect leadership capability. Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate with Diagnostics, Design, Service Manual team, Reliability to analyze and manage systems engineering changes for assigned commodity/ programs for impact to service. Support other subsystems as needed.
  • Propose and execute on process improvement projects within service bill of materials scope of work and with cross-functional teams.
  • Work with Service and Design Release Engineers to develop Service Part Level Plans (supporting service strategy and service part release) for assigned commodity/ programs.
  • Release production part assemblies into serviceable sub-systems for an efficient and effective service part strategy.
  • Manage service parts change process as related to released parts.
  • Investigate and resolve interchangeability of existing service parts concurrent with the release of new service parts.
  • Review and audit SBOM for completeness and errors for assigned engineering systems.
  • Serve as the knowledge expert on SBOM part management.
  • Analyze and resolve engineering deviations, suggestions, and internal/external customer inquiries relative to service parts.
  • Support Dealer Field Action bulletins (safety, compliance, emission, customer satisfaction, service update).
  • Support part issue escalations, serving at Subject matter expert (SME) reviewing and correcting any part released issue for release.
  • Support and coordinate on business and analytical technical decisions with downstream teams as SME including Service Catalog, Field Service, New Part Introduction, and Demand Planning.
  • Responsibilities will primarily support charging products, energy stationary storage, consumables, and standard components for service; this is subject to change based on business needs.
Qualifications:
  • BS in Engineering, Automotive Technology or similar technical degree
  • Ability to manage multiple projects across varying geographic locations simultaneously
  • Willingness to work in a strong cross functional environment reliant on daily collaboration with internal and external teams
  • Technical and professional skills in job-related area required.
  • Able to work efficiently under high amount of work/stress.
  • Detail oriented and high level analytical ability where problems are unusual and complex.
  • Experience in Enovia, Catia V6, Delima, and SAP a plus.
