Steed Industries LLC seeks skilled Carpenters to join our dynamic team specializing in commercial and industrial concrete projects. In this role, you will play an essential part in constructing, installing, and maintaining formwork and other concrete-related structures. Key Responsibilities

  • Formwork Construction: Build and install formwork for concrete pours, ensuring structural soundness and accuracy to project specifications.
  • Concrete Finishing: Smooth, level, and seal concrete surfaces as required to achieve quality standards.
  • Collaboration: Coordinate with project managers and tradespeople to optimize timelines and work processes.
  • Material Handling: Safely transport tools, equipment, and materials related to concrete construction.
  • Site Safety: Comply with safety protocols and promote a safe work environment, participating in regular safety meetings.
  • Quality Control: Inspect completed work for accuracy and quality, making adjustments as needed.
  • Problem Solving: Troubleshoot challenges to keep construction moving efficiently.
  • Tool Maintenance: Maintain all tools and equipment, reporting repair needs promptly.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent; carpentry certification preferred.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in concrete carpentry or similar construction fields.
  • Proficient in using a variety of carpentry tools and equipment.
  • Strong understanding of concrete construction methods and industry standards.
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.
  • Team-oriented with excellent communication skills.
  • Knowledge of OSHA regulations with a strong commitment to safety.
