Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Small Engine Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong mechanical background and be proficient in diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining small engines and related equipment. This role is essential for ensuring the reliability and performance of our machinery, which includes generators and other small engine devices.

Duties

• Diagnose mechanical issues using schematics and technical manuals to identify problems accurately.
• Perform repairs on various small engines, including but not limited to generators, lawn mowers, and other outdoor power equipment.
• Conduct routine maintenance on vehicles and equipment to ensure optimal performance.
• Utilize hand tools and diagnostic equipment effectively for repairs and maintenance tasks.
• Maintain a clean and organized workspace while adhering to safety protocols.
• Assist in heavy lifting and transporting of equipment as necessary.
• Collaborate with team members to improve repair processes.
• Driving to work site locations to pickup/drop off equipment.
• Must have transportation and valid driver's license

Skills

• Strong mechanical knowledge with experience in automotive repair or similar fields.
• Proficiency in reading schematics and technical diagrams for troubleshooting purposes.
• Familiarity with generator repair techniques and best practices.
• Ability to handle heavy lifting safely and efficiently.
• Excellent problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
• Strong communication skills to interact effectively with customers and team members.

Pay: $18.00 per hour
