About the Role

We are seeking a Mid-Level Software Engineer to join the North American Solution Delivery Selling & Store Operations Team of a leading global IT organization. This role focuses on modernizing workforce management solutions, specifically transitioning from UKG Workforce Central (WFC) to UKG Pro Workforce Management (WFM) .

The ideal candidate will play a critical role in developing, integrating, and supporting workforce systems that enhance operational efficiency across the U.S., Canada, and Europe. You will join a collaborative, agile team working on high-visibility initiatives using the Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe) .

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and support integrations and features in UKG Pro WFM , Kronos WFC , and associated platforms.
• Develop Boomi-based integrations to replace legacy systems.
• Collaborate closely with solution architects, product managers, and engineering teams.
• Participate in agile ceremonies and contribute to sprint planning, reviews, and retrospectives.
• Ensure compliance with security, availability, and performance standards.
• Contribute to technology evaluations and demos for new workforce management solutions.
• Provide troubleshooting and production support during deployments and operations.
• Mentor peers and promote a collaborative, inclusive team environment.

Minimum Qualifications

• 5 10 years of experience as a Software Engineer or Application Developer
• Strong hands-on experience with UKG Pro WFM
• Proven experience with UKG Boomi integrations
• Experience working with Kronos Workforce Integration Manager (WIM) and infrastructure
• 3+ years of development and testing with UKG Workforce platforms

Preferred Qualifications

• Dell Boomi certification or advanced integration experience
• Familiarity with UKG modules like Time & Attendance , Schedule Optimization , and ATK
• 3+ years working with SaaS/cloud-based systems
• Experience with middleware technologies such as Apigee or MOVEit Automation
• Proficiency in databases: Oracle, SQL Server, PostgreSQL, CosmosDB
• Strong knowledge of Agile/DevOps tools: Git/GitLab, JIRA, Confluence, SonarQube
• Object-Oriented Design (OOD) experience
• Exposure to Oracle HRIS , Workday , or similar platforms
• Background in retail industry business processes
