Job Title: Special Events Assistant
Position Reports to: Resort Manager, Assistant Resort Manager and Director of Special Events
Job Summary: This is a full-time position May 20th-End of October with part-time work available outside of these dates depending on weddings and events.
Responsible for facilitation of all aspects of on-site activities, weddings, seminars, workshops, and member activities. Coordinate with maintenance, housekeeping, and reservations to provide a successful outcome. Attend to guests needs in a professional manner with a high level of integrity and service. Provide general event support in planning, coordinating, and implementing all events, programs, and ceremonies as assigned, including resort wide special events. Personal Characteristics: High energy level with great communication skills. Great time management. Must be well organized with the ability to get along with diverse personalities. Have the ability to deal professionally with other staff members, guests, board members and the public.
