This position is 100% onsite in Colorado Springs, CO. (Must reside within a commutable distance. )

Due to Federal Government Security Clearance Requirements: U.S. Citizenship, and must have an Active DOD Secret Clearance.

PRISM seeks an SQL DBA to ensure the health, performance, and security of our SQL Server database environments. You will be responsible for installation, configuration, maintenance, performance tuning, security implementation, backup/recovery, and collaboration with development teams.

Responsibilities:

• Administer and maintain SQL Server database environments (installation, configuration, patching).
• Monitor database operational status and performance.
• Manage database replication monitoring and resolve issues.
• Optimize database performance, identify bottlenecks, and implement improvements.
• Perform database design, data modeling, and schema management.
• Implement and maintain database security (user access, encryption, auditing).
• Conduct database capacity planning and forecasting.
• Develop and maintain database backup and recovery strategies.
• Collaborate with development teams to optimize SQL queries and database code.
• Create and maintain database documentation and troubleshooting guides.

Required:

• Full Adjudicated Active DOD Secret Clearance.
• Minimum of a High School Diploma, GED, or comparable certification.
• At least 7 years of professional experience as a SQL Database Administrator.
• Must possess an active Secret Clearance.
• Willingness to participate in a rotational on-call schedule for after-hours support.
