Salary: $104,650 - 189,175 per year Requirements:
- I hold a Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college in a relevant discipline with 9+ years of professional experience; or a Master’s degree from an accredited college in a related discipline with 7+ years of professional experience.
- I possess the ability to obtain an SF-85P Public Trust clearance from the FAA customer.
- I have experience leading and directing the activities of a team.
- I am familiar with a documented Integration and Test Development Process.
- I have experience using UNIX and Linux operating systems.
- I possess strong integration skills and hands-on experience in integrating large, complex software systems.
- I have strong communication skills to effectively interact with internal and external customers.
Responsibilities: - As a member of a vibrant team, I will:
- Enhance the experience for the flying public, Air Traffic Control, and the airline industry by improving the collaboration and decision-making capabilities of flight controllers.
- Lead the technical execution and testing of multiple parallel builds while collaborating with customers to drive activities.
- Work closely with system integrators, program leadership, and cross-functional teams to identify functional, usability, and performance deficiencies and recommend improvements.
- Collaborate to develop and coordinate operationally relevant test strategies and evaluation procedures.
- Define and develop test processes and procedures to support functional and system testing in a fast-paced development environment.
- Promote a shared goal of high quality, testing efficiency, and timely results to meet program schedules.
- Produce Test Evaluation Reports and Status Reports for active testing phases, and contribute to various Government Test and Evaluation documents.
- Assist other engineers in designing and executing tests, analyzing data, and reporting/documenting results.
- Integrate complex software with minimal outside support.
- Debug system-level issues and provide detailed documentation on identified problems.
- Understand System Level Requirements.
- Provide guidance to the test team and ensure goals are appropriately set to meet program milestones.
- Maintain test approaches and procedures derived from requirements.
- Analyze identified issues together with System Engineering and Software Engineering to formulate solutions.
- Support test and requirement verification and validation.
- Learn the system architecture, design, functions, and capabilities to assist in integration and testing.
- Act as a technical liaison between system test integrators and software development teams for seamless content integration across multiple releases.
- Experience in a collaborative, team-oriented environment.
- Manually execute tests in the Physical Lab and Virtual Test Lab (VTL).
- Conduct formal test executions alongside customers and quality assurance organizations.
