Job Description A Technical Artist is the key bridge between artists and engineers, and we're seeking a passionate team member to closely work with a multidisciplinary team to develop cutting-edge technology that shapes the future of Avatars in social platforms such as Meta Horizon Worlds. You'll have the opportunity to push the boundaries of what's possible in the world of the Avatars platform across VR and Mobile, with a focus on revolutionizing the avatar animation systems. This journey promises innovation, creativity, and the opportunity to impact billions of users, shaping the future of Avatars in social platforms. Technical Artist (Animation Systems) Responsibilities:  - Partner closely with Art, Design, and Engineering teams to define, develop and maintain avatars animation systems and pipeline technologies (e.g. Avatar data creation/retargeting for face and body, state machines, behavior trees, physics-based animations)  - Implement runtime logic within complex real-time environments, balancing performance limitations with creative vision  - Optimize systems for performance, sharing best practices with cross-functional partners  - Diagnose and fix bugs, and quickly resolve issues with cross-functional leads We are a company committed to creating diverse and inclusive environments where people can bring their full, authentic selves to work every day.
