Apple Autos is seeking a dedicated and knowledgeable Used Car Buyer to join our team. As a Used Car Buyer, you will be responsible for evaluation and acquiring used vehicles for our inventory. What You’ll Do

• Research and identify potential sources of used cars, including auctions and private sellers.
• Inspect and appraise vehicles to determine their condition, value, and market potential.
• Negotiate purchase prices and terms with sellers, striving for the best possible deals.
• Stay up to date on market trends, values, and demand for different makes and models.
• Maintain accurate records of purchases and sales.
• Uphold ethical and legal standards in all transactions.
• Provide excellent customer service to sellers and vendors.
• Manage transportation of vehicles acquired at auctions to drive efficiency.
• Work with recon center to maintain effective receiving process when vehicles are delivered by transporters.
• Attend used vehicle meetings as needed.
• Travel overnight to auctions outside of Minnesota, seasonally.

What You’ll Bring

• Prefer experience in buying used cars, ideally in a dealership or automotive industry.
• Strong communication skills.
• Detail-oriented with the ability to assess a vehicle’s condition accurately.
• Valid driver’s license and the ability to travel for inspections and purchases.
• Understanding of legal and ethical consideration in the used car buying process.
