About the Role
We are looking for an experienced and enthusiastic Customer Service Representative (CSR) to help us grow our subscription service. As an independent contractor, you'll have the opportunity to work remotely and represent our brand, delivering top-notch customer service to our community of investors.
In this role, you will be the first point of contact for customer inquiries, playing a crucial part in ensuring customer satisfaction and loyalty. You will assist with questions primarily about our subscription service and the content we deliver. The majority of your communication will be through email, but you may also interact with customers via chat, social media, or phone when needed.
You'll have the chance to work from the comfort of your home, and your interactions will help enhance our customer experience and contribute to our mission of empowering investors.
Key Responsibilities:
Engage with customers through email, chat, social media, and phone, providing timely, accurate, and helpful solutions to their inquiries.
Problem-solve creatively, offering practical solutions that meet customer needs while ensuring their satisfaction.
Log customer interactions accurately into our CRM system to enable seamless follow-ups and effective tracking.
Collaborate with teammates, sharing feedback and suggestions to continuously improve our processes and optimize the customer experience.
Maintain knowledge of our evolving services and resources, ensuring customers receive accurate and up-to-date information.
Assist affiliate partners as needed to help maintain strong relationships and support their needs.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to think critically and provide effective solutions quickly.
Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively in a remote work environment.
Proficiency with technology, including CRM software and standard office tools.
Technology Requirements:
A desktop or laptop computer (Windows or macOS)—tablets are not supported.
A connected or built-in video camera for attending internal meetings via Zoom.
A secure, reliable high-speed internet connection.
A quiet, distraction-free work environment.
Location & Schedule:
This role is 100% remote, available to residents of the United States (note: not available in California, New York, Pennsylvania, or Washington at this time).
Anticipated start date is early January 2025, with flexible hours ranging from 20-40 hours per week, depending on workload.
The role requires availability between 8 AM - 5 PM EST, Monday to Friday for most customer interactions and internal meetings. Scheduling must align with business needs to maintain a high level of customer service.
Compensation:
$25 per hour as an independent contractor.
Please note that as an independent contractor, you will be responsible for your own taxes and benefits.
Important Information:
This is an independent contractor position, and contractors are responsible for managing their taxes and business expenses.
All contractors must successfully pass a criminal background check.
As an independent contractor, you will not be eligible for employee benefits such as vacation pay, sick leave, health insurance, or retirement benefits.
