Position: Audio Visual (AV) Programmer

Location: Cerritos, CA

Audio Visual (AV) Programmer Position Summary

As GST's AV Control System Programmer, you will be responsible for planning, developing, testing and implementing control system code, audio files, and other equipment-related configurations. This individual would also perform in-house testing and on-site commissioning at client locations. The Control System Programmer will be able to successfully handle multiple tasks/projects, think independently and effectively interact with employees and client.

Job Requirements

• Read and interpret AV systems drawings
• Gather programming requirements
• Provide control system design and review audio visual design
• Produce new modules and interfaces
• Create technical standards, processes and procedures
• Provide programming and technical direction to project team when needed
• Control System programming design to meet requirements and system capabilities
• User Interface programming to meet requirements and system capabilities
• Install control programs and touch panel design onsite, offsite, and remotely in physical systems
• Perform commissioning and acceptance testing of code
• Test integrated systems and perform troubleshooting as needed
• Assist manufactures and customers with problem resolution as needed
• Travel to various job sites, as required
• Proficient with test and calibration equipment
• Proficient in programming languages
• Proficient in uploading and downloading software in embedded systems
• Proficient in control system design (Crestron/AMX/Extron)
• Understanding of DSP programming
• Effective communication and interaction with employees, clients and colleagues

Qualifications

• Previous experience with control systems, video-conferencing, switching hardware, audio DSP setup and calibration
• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Programming or equivalent experience
• Minimum of three years of Crestron or AMX control system programming experience
• Harman Certified Control Professional (C-P) required
• Extron GC-Pro Certified required
• Crestron and AMX certifications required
• CTS or CTS-D certification is preferred
