As a Part-Time Clinical Data Abstractor, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the integrity and accuracy of clinical data. Your primary responsibility will be to extract and code essential patient information from medical records, aligning with the specific requirements of various target registries. Key Responsibilities:
Accurately abstract and code patient data from electronic medical records (EMRs).
Ensure data abstraction aligns with the requirements of designated registries.
Maintain a high level of data accuracy, consistently achieving a 98% or higher Inter-Rater Reliability (IRR) score.
Adhere to established guidelines and protocols for data abstraction.
Utilize provided tools and software effectively.
Maintain patient confidentiality and adhere to HIPAA regulations.
What We're Looking For:
A minimum of 1 year of recent experience in clinical data abstraction.
Proficiency in navigating and utilizing various EMR systems.
Demonstrated ability to maintain a 98% or higher IRR score.
Prior experience working remotely is highly desirable.
Availability to dedicate a minimum of 60 hours per month to data abstraction tasks.
Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills.
Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
