Required Programming Languages

Candidates should be proficient in at least two of the following languages:

Python (OOP principles, frameworks like Flask, Django, FastAPI)
SQL (query optimization, database design, relational database management)
HTML/CSS (front-end development)
JavaScript (front-end or full-stack)
C++/C# (systems-level or enterprise applications)
Java (backend services, Android development)

Core Requirements

Cybersecurity Best Practices: Understanding of OWASP Top 10, secure coding , and compliance standards.
Clean Code & Testing: Strong software design principles, adherence to testing methodologies , and structured problem-solving.
AI & GenAI Tools: Experience with ChatGPT or similar AI tools for development efficiency, with awareness of AI biases and security concerns .
Algorithmic Thinking & Problem-Solving: Ability to diagnose security vulnerabilities , optimize solutions, and enhance system architecture.

Offer Details

Position Type: Long-term contract
Work Hours: Full-time (40 hours/week) with at least 5-hour overlap with PST
Compensation: Competitive, based on experience and expertise
Benefits: Contractor role (no medical/paid leave)
