WeVote has an open volunteering position for a Donor Database Manager (2-5 hours per week) who wants to use their existing skills and learn new skills, while helping strengthen American Democracy. This position will manage our ongoing use of Hubspot, and support the team who is identifying potential funding opportunities from foundations, corporate giving programs, and philanthropic institutions. This role is essential to expanding our funding pipeline and helping us connect with grantmakers who support civic engagement, voter education, digital democracy, and tech-for-good initiatives.

WeVote is a nonpartisan get-out-the-vote nonprofit startup, and a celebrated  Fast Forward nonprofit technology grantee . WeVote is a movement of over 100 passionate volunteers (starting with the founders) who are building open source mobile technologies that touch and mobilize millions of voters on Election Day. We observe that many voters are busy, distracted, and impatient. What You’ll Do

• Configure our Hubspot to match our funding strategy. Finish importing data of previous donors.
• Review & improve our profiles on each potential funder, including giving history, strategic priorities, eligibility criteria, average grant size, deadlines, and key contacts.
• Work with the Donor Relations Project Manager to keep Hubspot updated as our tracker with all prospects, including stage of outreach, status, and relevant notes.
• Work closely with the Donor Relations Team to align organizational priorities, capabilities and upcoming funding needs.

Who you are: Must haves.

• At least 2 hours each week during our core team hours M-F 9 a.m. - 6 p.m. (Additional hours can be done in evening and weekends) including being able to attend our weekly Monday 12:30pm - 1:30pm Pacific Time Donor Relations meeting.
• You want to work with an established and successful team. You are committed to strengthening American Democracy.
• You are striving for personal excellence.
• A willingness to work with and support other volunteers
• You are currently located in the US and can work one or two hours that overlap with US PT per week.

Not required, but nice to have.
