Job Summary: Thomas KIA of Highland is seeking an entry-level technician to join our team at our automotive dealership in Highland, Indiana. This individual will play a vital role in our service department, providing high-quality automotive repairs and maintenance services. The ideal candidate will have a passion for the auto industry and a desire to grow within our company. Compensation & Benefits: This is a full-time, hourly position with a starting pay rate of $14.28 to $20 per hour, based on experience and qualifications. The successful candidate will also be eligible for our comprehensive benefits package, which includes medical, dental, and vision insurance, paid time off, and opportunities for advancement within the company. Responsibilities:

• Perform basic automotive repairs and maintenance, including oil changes, tire rotations, and brake inspections
• Diagnose and troubleshoot vehicle issues using state-of-the-art diagnostic equipment
• Communicate with service advisors and customers to explain necessary repairs and provide accurate estimates
• Ensure all work is performed according to manufacturer standards and specifications
• Maintain a clean and organized work area
• Continuously learn and stay updated on new automotive technologies and techniques
• Adhere to all safety protocols and regulations

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Previous experience in the automotive industry preferred, but not required
• Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills
• Energetic and self-motivated with a desire to learn and grow
• Excellent communication and customer service skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
• Must have a valid driver's license and clean driving record
• Must be able to pass a background check and drug screening
