Wyndham Hotels & Resorts is now seeking a  Intern, Search Engine Optimization (SEO) to join our team at the Parsippany - 22 Sylvan Way location in Parsippany ,  New Jersey .

The Role

The Search Engine Optimization (SEO) Intern will support the team in improving website visibility and driving organic traffic. This position focuses on implementing best practices for on-page and off-page optimization, keyword research, and content strategy development. The intern will gain hands-on experience analyzing website performance metrics and developing actionable insights to improve search rankings.

What you'll do

• Conducting comprehensive research to identify high-value opportunities and optimize website content for search engine rankings.
• Research report with prioritized recommendations for content optimization and new content opportunities aligned with the organization's goals.
• Analyze website performance using tools like Adobe Analytics, Google Search Console, and other SEO platforms to identify areas of improvement and develop actionable recommendations.
• Performance analysis summary highlighting key metrics, insights, and actionable recommendations for improving site rankings and traffic.
• Assisting in optimizing local SEO efforts, including updating and managing Google Business Profiles, ensuring NAP (Name, Address, Phone number) consistency across directories, and improving local search visibility.
• Supporting daily operations by assisting business owners with local SEO optimizations, including updates to profiles and directories, while preparing program recommendations to improve overall local search visibility.

You'll be successful if you have

• Strong written and verbal communication; ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.

Required Qualifications/Experience

• Currently pursuing a bachelor's degree or master's in Marketing, Business, Communications, Computer Science, or a related field.
• Marketing, Communications, Business Administration, or a closely related discipline.
• Previous coursework or hands-on experience in digital marketing, content writing, or web analytics is preferred but not mandatory.
• Be enrolled in an accredited college, university or trade school undergraduate or graduate degree program.
• Be an undergraduate Rising Senior or pursuing a graduate degree.
