We are currently seeking a skilled Locum NP (Nurse Practitioner) or PA (Physician's Assistant) specializing in Urology . In this role, you will play a crucial part in providing high-quality patient care and support in the field of Urology. You will have the opportunity to work on a variety of urological projects, collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to ensure the best outcomes for patients.

As a Locum NP or PA in Urology, your role is vital in diagnosing and treating urological conditions, conducting physical exams, interpreting diagnostic tests, and developing treatment plans. Your expertise will contribute significantly to the success of our healthcare team, making a positive impact on patient well-being. 

Responsibilities:

• Conduct urological assessments and examinations.
• Develop and implement urological treatment plans.
• Order and interpret diagnostic tests such as ultrasounds and biopsies.
• Provide patient education on urological conditions and treatment options.
• Collaborate with urologists, nurses, and other healthcare professionals.
• Assist in urological procedures and surgeries as needed.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records.
• Monitor and evaluate patient progress and outcomes.

Requirements:

• Valid Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician's Assistant (PA) license.
• Specialization or experience in Urology.
• Strong knowledge of urological conditions, treatments, and procedures.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced healthcare environment.
• Attention to detail and strong analytical skills.
• Ability to collaborate with a multidisciplinary team.
• Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and patient needs.

Schedule: 24-hour ED beeper call, 1 week per month

Setting: Inpatient

Daily Volume: 5-15 patients

Da Vinci robotics available

EMR: Epic

Must be board-certified or board-eligible

Paid travel & expenses
