LPN Correctional Nurse $34 an hour
Shifts: Evening 3p-11p
Contract: 3 year contract with possible extension

Job Summary
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will provide high-quality nursing care to patients in various settings, including primary care, pediatrics, and occupational health. As an LPN, you will play a crucial role in supporting patient health and well-being through effective medical documentation, case management, and home community care.

Responsibilities
Deliver direct patient care under the supervision of registered nurses or physicians.
Assist in the assessment of patient health by collecting vital signs and medical histories.
Provide care for patients a correctional environment as needed.
Administer medications and treatments as prescribed while ensuring accurate medical documentation.
Support specimen collection processing and maintain laboratory standards.
Collaborate with healthcare teams to develop and implement patient care plans.
Educate patients and families about health management and preventive care practices.
Participate in case management activities to ensure comprehensive patient support.

Qualifications
Valid LPN license in the state of practice.
Strong skills in medical documentation and patient assessment techniques.
Ability to work effectively within a team-oriented environment while providing compassionate care.
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, for effective patient interaction.
Commitment to maintaining confidentiality and adhering to healthcare regulations.
