DESCRIPTION

Are you passionate about building innovative technical products that delight customers? As a Technical Product Manager at Amazon, you'll own the end-to-end product lifecycle for critical technology products/features that drive significant business impact. You'll work alongside world-class engineers and business leaders to define product strategy, drive technical decisions, and deliver solutions that scale across Amazon's ecosystem.

Key job responsibilities
- Define and own product vision, strategy, and roadmap
- Create customer-focused PRDs and technical requirements
- Drive product discussions and requirements gathering across diverse stakeholder groups
- Conduct market research and competitive analysis to inform product decisions
- Define and track success metrics and KPIs
- Partner with engineering teams on technical architecture and implementation
- Manage trade-offs between features, time, and technical complexity
- Lead cross-functional initiatives and build consensus across teams
- Mentor and develop other product managers

A day in the life
As a Technical Product Manager, you'll find yourself:

- Working backwards from customer needs to define product vision and strategy
- Leading technical discussions with engineering teams and architects
- Analyzing data to make informed product decisions
- Writing PRDs and technical specifications
- Conducting stakeholder reviews and building alignment
- Managing multiple concurrent product initiatives
- Mentoring other PMs on best practices and methodologies

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

- 5+ years of customer-facing product development and product management, including defining, launching, and optimizing product and services experience
- Experience delivering technical products/platforms at scale
- Track record of leading cross-functional teams and initiatives
- Experience with data analysis and metrics-driven decision making
