Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and proactive Safety Manager to join our team in Dunbridge, OH. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring a safe and compliant work environment for all employees. You will lead safety initiatives, conduct training, and foster a culture of safety throughout the facility. Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and maintain safety policies and procedures in accordance with local, state, and federal regulations.
• Conduct regular safety audits and inspections to identify hazards and ensure compliance.
• Lead safety training sessions and workshops for employees at all levels.
• Investigate accidents and incidents, documenting findings and recommending corrective actions.
• Collaborate with management to promote a culture of safety and continuous improvement.
• Monitor safety performance metrics and prepare reports for management review.
• Stay updated on industry trends and regulatory changes to ensure best practices are followed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Safety, Environmental Science, or a related field.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in a safety management role, preferably in a manufacturing or industrial setting.
• Strong knowledge of OSHA regulations and safety standards.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage and motivate employees.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and safety management software.
• Certifications such as Certified Safety Professional (CSP) or Occupational Health and Safety Technologist (OHST) are a plus.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with strong problem-solving skills.
