As part of our Operations team, the Shuttle Dispatcher monitors and oversees day to day vehicle operations using our high-tech dispatch center located at our bus yard in SODO, Seattle. The Dispatcher monitors all ‘in service’ TransWest vehicles, ensuring they are on time and on route.
With an ability to problem solve and act quickly, the Shuttle Dispatcher will create solutions in the moment and be the point of contact for Drivers, Driver Supervisors and Location Managers via phone, push to talk and email communications regarding issues, shuttle delays, rerouting, accidents, late departures and more to ensure operations are kept on track to meet our service requirements. Using GPS software, online tracking and reporting tools, additional responsibilities include monitoring driver check ins and check outs, driver and vehicle assignments, performance reporting, on time reporting, the creation of push notifications to clients and riders, responding to rider questions via phone and email and more related to our service success.
Schedule for this opportunity is Monday-Friday 12pm-8:30pm in SODO (Seattle)
