Major Food Group is hiring an experienced Social Media Manager/Content Creator to join our growing Marketing team!

The ideal candidate is skilled in content creation, curation, scriptwriting, and digital asset management, with a keen eye for identifying and amplifying authentic content for Major Food Group’s portfolio of restaurants, specifically in Miami. This role will focus on evergreen content—capturing and curating timeless, high-quality visuals that showcase our brand’s culinary excellence, design, and hospitality. We are looking for a creative thinker with a passion for food, hospitality, and digital storytelling, capable of producing compelling content that enhances brand awareness, engagement, and guest loyalty.

Responsibilities:

• EVERGREEN CONTENT CREATION & CURATION
• Conceptualizing, scripting, shooting, and editing engaging short-form video / ads optimized for platforms such as Instagram, Facebook, and TikTok.
• Capture high-quality imagery and video, with a focus on food and lifestyle content, that can be repurposed across multiple platforms.
• Efficient and expert editing of high-quality ad creatives using tools like CapCut, Instagram, Adobe Premiere, or Final Cut Pro.
• Build and maintain a content library that ensures consistency in visual identity and storytelling.
• COLLABORATION & COORDINATION
• Work closely with marketing, PR, and operations teams to align content with broader business objectives.
• Partner with restaurant teams to capture behind-the-scenes content that reflects the authenticity of each concept.
• Plan, communicate and execute shoots based on agreed upon creative brief, work closely with each concept’s General Manager and onsite team.
• Proven success working with and directing high profile talent including but not limited to partners/founders, head chefs, and more
• PERFORMANCE TRACKING & OPTIMIZATION
• Iterating creative strategies based on performance data to continuously improve ad effectiveness.
• Monitor content performance metrics, analyze trends, and adjust strategies accordingly.
• Stay ahead of industry trends and social media best practices to keep MFG at the forefront of digital storytelling.

Qualifications:

• Must have 2+ years of experience in UGC content creation, paid ads or a related role
• Experience with Video Editing + Editing Software (Capcut, Instagram, etc)
• Experience with basic design for static images (Canva, Illustrator, etc)
• Experience with paid content creation is a bonus
• Expertise in social media platforms, trends, and analytics tools
• Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines
• Passion for food, hospitality, and brand storytelling
• Strong understanding of social media platforms (Instagram, YouTube, TikTok, etc.) and best practices.
• Experience ideating and managing still and video assets.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
• Possess strong problem-solving skills
• Excellent verbal, communication, and writing skills
• Must be an enthusiastic team player with outstanding organizational skills, time management, collaboration, and attention to detail
• Fluent in English (speak, read, and write)
• Should be local to the Miami area
• Must be able to shoot 3-days/week (2 weekend days/month)
• Must have portfolio or link (including 5-10 reels with speaking parts) to submit for application review

Compensation: $60,000 - $70,000 annually based on experience.
