About the Job:

The Procurement department is seeking a Procurement Analyst in the Veteran Fellowship capacity with a background in logistics operations who will be essential in supporting Airport operations. The ideal candidate will be a proactive problem solver who excels at building relationships with stakeholders and drives process optimization.

 

What You’ll Do:

• Procurement & Contracting: Researches and identifies new vendors and suppliers for products and services. Reviews and processes purchase orders and agreements and negotiates with vendors. Participates in bidding and purchasing routine, non-routine, specialized, and/or unique, commodities, equipment and services. Researches and reviews specifications, sources vendors and conducts outreach. Facilitates public works construction bids (informal and formal); conducts pre-bid meetings, negotiates and prepares standard agreements.
• Customer Service: Serves as a liaison between departments, management, and vendors addressing procurement inquiries. Responds to and resolves procurement-related inquiries, concerns, and complaints from stakeholders. Ability to set priorities and exercise sound independent judgement within areas of responsibility and establish and maintain ethical, effective working relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
• Administrative Support: Assists with contract management and inventory controls and reporting. Adheres to administrative processes in the establishment of procurement records and reporting. Manages procurement-related documentation, ensuring data accuracy in procurement systems. Organizes and integrates procurement data into a digital filing system.

Requirements

The Experience You Need to Have**:

• A minimum of three (3) years of active duty or mobilized reserve duty service.
• Submittal of an honorable discharge (DD214) from active or reserve status within the last year.*

*An exception will be made to the one-year requirement listed above for full-time or part-time students enrolled in a degree or certification program since honorable discharge; a transcript must be provided.
