Job Title: Warehouse Manager
Location: Healdsburg, California

Position Summary:

We are launching a dedicated fulfillment warehouse to serve as the shipping center for our portfolio of brands. The Warehouse Manager will be responsible for managing all aspects of our fulfillment warehouse operations. This role involves supervising a small team of employees, handling relationships with multiple vendors, and ensuring accurate and timely shipments. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in warehouse management, with a solid understanding of logistics and inventory management.

Key Responsibilities:
1. Warehouse Operations Management:
2. Oversee and manage daily warehouse activities, including receiving, storage, order fulfillment, and inventory control.
3. Ensure all orders are picked, packed, and shipped on time accurately and efficiently.
4. Maintain a clean, safe, and organized warehouse environment in compliance with safety regulations.
5. Team Leadership and Supervision:
6. Train, supervise, and evaluate on-site warehouse employees.
7. Schedule and delegate tasks to team members to optimize workflow and productivity.
8. Foster a positive work environment that encourages teamwork, accountability, and continuous improvement.
9. Vendor and Partner Communication
10. Serve as a primary point of contact for vendors, including those supplying packaging materials, IT support, and logistics services.
11. Coordinate with trucking companies and freight carriers for deliveries and pickups.
12. Work closely with internal stakeholders (customer service, marketing, clubs, etc) to address any fulfillment or shipping needs/issues.
13. Inventory Management:
14. Oversee inventory accuracy and management, ensuring optimal stock levels for fulfillment needs – wine, packaging materials, office supplies, etc.
15. Conduct regular audits of inventory to maintain accuracy and support future planning.
16. Process Improvement:
17. Identify and implement process improvements to enhance operational efficiency, reduce costs, and improve order accuracy.
18. Regularly review performance metrics to ensure continuous improvement and alignment with company goals.
19. Safety and Compliance:
20. Enforce safety standards, ensuring that employees operate within OSHA and company guidelines.
21. Conduct regular safety training sessions for warehouse employees.
22. Ensure all equipment, including forklifts and other machinery, is maintained and operated safely.

Requirements:
•  Proven experience in warehouse management, ideally in a high-volume, DTC, or e-commerce fulfillment environment.
•  Strong leadership skills with a track record of successfully managing a team.
•  Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, for effective vendor and team interactions.
•  Experience with inventory management systems and warehouse management systems (WMS).
•  Forklift certification and hands-on knowledge of warehouse machinery.
•  Spanish language fluency is a big plus.
•  Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and experience with logistics software is a plus.
•  Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

Physical Requirements:
•  Ability to lift up to 50 lbs as needed.
•  Must be able to stand, walk, and perform physical tasks in a warehouse setting for extended periods.
