Job Title: Water Meter Reader

Job Summary: We are seeking a temporary Water Meter Reader responsible for accurately collecting water meter readings across designated routes. This role requires significant walking, attention to safety, and interaction with various residential and commercial properties.
Key Responsibilities:
Walk 5–8 miles per day across assigned routes.
Enter and exit residential and commercial properties to access meter locations.
Safely navigate obstacles such as uneven terrain, gates, or landscaping.
Operate and carry equipment provided for meter reading, which includes:
Smartphone with a specialized reading app.
One Touch Pro remote reading device.
Bluetooth-enabled belt clip device connecting to the app.
Drive a company-provided fleet vehicle to travel between route areas (valid driver’s license required).
Qualifications:
Ability to walk long distances and work outdoors in varying weather conditions.
Comfortable interacting with the public and accessing private property respectfully.
Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
Basic familiarity with smartphone apps and Bluetooth-enabled devices is a plus.
Dependable, safety-conscious, and detail-oriented.
