    • Measure, cut, and thread piping to match the dimensions and specifications indicated in the drawings
  4. Quality Control & Inspection:
    • Inspect completed welds and piping for quality, ensuring they meet project requirements and industry standards
    • Perform pressure tests on the systems to check for leaks and ensure the integrity of all connections
    • Repair or replace faulty welds or components when needed
  5. System Troubleshooting:
    • Diagnose issues with existing hydronic systems, such as leaks, blockages, or system malfunctions
    • Provide solutions by repairing or replacing damaged components and testing the system for optimal performance

    • Communicate effectively with project managers, supervisors, and team members to meet deadlines and resolve any on-site issues
  8. Equipment Maintenance & Use:
    • Operate and maintain welding equipment, tools, and other machinery used in the fabrication and installation of hydronic systems
    • Ensure welding equipment is properly set up, calibrated, and maintained for optimal performance

    • Previous experience in welding, specifically in hydronics or plumbing systems, is highly desirable
    • Certifications such as AWS (American Welding Society) certification or other welding credentials are preferred
  • Skills & Knowledge:
    • Proficiency in welding techniques, including MIG, TIG, and Stick welding
    • Knowledge of hydronic heating and cooling systems, including boilers, radiators, piping, and manifolds
    • Familiarity with blueprint reading, technical drawings, and system schematics
    • Understanding of safety standards and building codes related to hydronic systems
    • Strong problem-solving skills to troubleshoot and repair system issues
  • Physical Requirements:
    • Ability to lift heavy materials and equipment (up to 50 lbs or more)
    • Ability to work in confined spaces, at heights, and in various environmental conditions
    • Ability to work for extended periods, often in physically demanding conditions
