Job Description

Residential Services, Inc. is hiring a full-time Human Resources Coordinator at our Duluth, MN office. This position will implement human resources programs, including recruitment and selection, new-hire onboarding, payroll timekeeping, leave of absence administration and other assigned programs. 

Salary: $22.00-$23.00 per hour based on experience

Key Responsibilities:
  • Coordinate the hiring process to include screening candidates, scheduling and conducting interviews, coordinating program previews, communicating with candidates, writing offer letters, and completing background, reference, and MVR checks.
  • Facilitate the recruitment process, including posting and updating job openings, attending hiring events, and communicating recruitment needs to the Communications and Marketing Specialist. 
  • Conduct new hire onboarding and set up employee accounts and training.
  • Work with program supervisors to ensure employee timecards are accurate and submitted timely. 
  • Review and reconcile employee timecards to identify and resolve discrepancies and ensure the correct application of pay codes and stipends.
  • Process employee transfers and cross-training.
  • Assist with administering employee leave of absence paperwork in accordance with RSI policies and employment laws
  • Provide training and feedback to program supervisors on scheduling and timekeeping procedures and systems.
  • Maintain confidential files and personnel actions.
  • Respond to reference checks and employment verifications.
  • Update HRIS database records and process paperwork for new hires, transfers, promotions, and other status changes. Compile reports from the database as needed.
  • Assist the department in carrying out various human resources projects and procedures as assigned.
  • Provide backup support at the reception desk.
Job Requirements:

Education/Work Experience:  A two-year degree in human resources or related field  or one year of human resources or related experience. One year of recruiting experience is preferred.
